WOYZECK

ABOUT WOYZECK

Georg Büchner’s ”Woyzeck” is a tale of a foot soldier bringing up a son with his girlfriend Marie. In order to better provide for his family, he serves as a barber for his captain and subjects himself to medical experiments. When a drum major seduces Marie, Woyzeck’s desperation is driven to madness, and he stabs his girlfriend to death.
