Grusomhetens Teater is situated in the Hausmania complex with its entrance via the yard in Hausmannsgate 34, close to Jakob Culture Church and the club Blå. With financial aid from the Norwegian Culture Council the former factory hall for production of electric machines was rebuilt into a theatre scene in 2002. The stage is occasionally rented out to guest plays and concerts. The scene measures 14 m x 8 m x 7 m (width x depth x height). It has 76 seats, a resilient wooden floor, new electric wiring and certified emergency exits. The theatre also has a foyer, office and dressing rooms.
